Comptoir Bakery offers a variety of baking classes in London, including hands-on courses in bread baking, patisserie, viennoiserie, and seasonal desserts. We cater to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced bakers. We will also be introducing international baking recipes for a wider culinary experience; stay tuned for more details!
You can book any of our baking classes in London through our website by selecting your preferred course and following the booking instructions. For group bookings, corporate events, or private baking classes, please contact our team directly at workshop@comptoirbakery.co.uk to discuss your requirements.
While our main focus is on baking courses in London, we are planning to extend our offer to a range of creative workshops, such as wine-tasting or even yoga classes. Our space allows us to be imaginative and organise a lot of different workshops. Keep an eye on our schedule to discover all upcoming events!
- Requests made more than 30 days before the lesson can be rescheduled or refunded in full.
- You can ask for a new date or hour for your lesson, and we will be happy to find a new slot for you. All changes are subject to availability.
- If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be processed within 7 working days.
- An administration charge of £15 (excluding VAT) applies for requests.
- Refunds or reschedules cannot be processed within the 30 days leading up to the class.
We strive to accommodate dietary needs wherever possible within our baking classes. Please inform us of any allergies or restrictions prior to your class. Some fundamental ingredients cannot be substituted due to the nature of the recipes.
All necessary ingredients and equipment are provided. We recommend comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes, as you’ll be standing and moving around the kitchen. A branded apron will also be provided upon arrival to protect your clothing, and you can go home with it!
Our standard baking classes are for participants aged 16 and above. However, family-friendly or children’s classes are occasionally offered; please check our schedule or contact us for details on upcoming sessions suitable for younger bakers.
Yes! We offer private baking classes in London for groups, corporate events, or special occasions. These classes can be tailored to focus on specific recipes, techniques, or skill levels.

Ein Traum aus Butter und Teig!
Wir durften in London an einem fantastischen Workshop teilnehmen und haben dabei nicht nur Croissants, Pain au Chocolat und Pain aux Raisins von Grund auf selbst gebacken, sondern auch jede Menge gelernt.
Die Atmosphäre war unglaublich herzlich, das Team super freundlich und hilfsbereit – und am Ende sind wir mit einer vollen Tasche himmlischem Gebäck und einem Lächeln nach Hause gegangen.

Excellent session. Learned a lot. They really thought through how to compress the three day process into an afternoon session so you got to experience all elements through to baking (and eating!) without all the waiting around. Seb and his son are lovely and very clear instructors.
