Galette des Rois Workshop
Celebrate the French tradition of Epiphany with our Galette des Rois Workshop – a pastry that brings family and friends together around the table every January. This golden puff pastry cake, filled with a rich almond frangipane, hides a surprise fève inside, and is crowned with a paper king’s crown for the lucky winner who finds it.
In this workshop, our bakers will guide you through every step: from mastering the art of flaky puff pastry, to preparing the creamy frangipane filling, to assembling and baking your very own galette. Along the way, you’ll learn the history of this festive dessert and the traditions that make it such a beloved part of French culture.
By the end of the class, you’ll take home your freshly baked Galette des Rois, complete with a crown to continue the tradition with your own family and friends. You’ll leave ready to impress your loved ones this January with both your baking skills and your knowledge of this charming French custom.
